Heath’s Success Story

Life changing

I stumbled upon Ashok’s program when I was feeling desperate: I had a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome from my GP. I had tried medication without success, I had a cupboard full of vitamins and supplements…I was trying to change my diet. But nothing was working for me. I was also trying to complete a PhD but was only able to concentrate for short bursts and had been informed by the University that they were very concerned about my progress. I couldn’t really go out at all because I felt so exhausted. I felt like my life was being hugely affected by a condition that I did not understand, and it seemed, that the medical profession didn’t understand either.

I had couple of minor breakthroughs before I purchased the program, but it was this that really took things to the next level. My first breakthrough was discovering meditation: I found that my symptoms reduced significantly after doing this; it wasn’t just my mind that was calmer but my whole body felt so much better. Secondly, I read a journal article about how those with chronic fatigue syndrome had better outcomes if they accepted that their condition was influenced to some degree by psychological factors. I had always believed my condition was physical because I had physical symptoms, and because its onset was when I had a raft of bodily ailments. I was, however, prepared to accept that there may be psychological component to this if I had a chance of getting better.

I was still skeptical when I got the program but I did the exercises diligently. Change did not happen overnight and for a while, it was 2 steps forward, 1 step back. What kept me going was that Ashok’s model made complete sense. Slowly I was better able to focus on my studies, go out and meet people, regain my life again. I passed my PhD, and joined an orchestra (I play violin) where I met my current partner and we have a 2 year old boy. I now feel fully recovered. This was unimaginable to me several years before. I have the odd day when I feel a bit out of sorts but that’s because I haven’t been using the techniques or have skipped my meditation or I know I am pushing myself too hard. Even Ashok mentioned that he still meditated daily to keep himself feeling at his best.

I would like people to know about Ashok’s program because too many people are suffering unnecessarily. There are ways and means to feel better. Chromic fatigue syndrome is absolutely devastating at its worst. People have lost years of lives to this condition. This program offers people a way out of this; a way to back to a normal life.
