Ashok is a generation ahead of the medical community
Throughout my five year illness I visited ~ 8 GPs and four consultants (including two psychiatrists). Although they were all well-meaning and tried their best, they simply had nothing to offer compared to Ashok when it comes to this disease. I can’t blame any of them- it simply isn’t in their training, and whenever they do see it in practice, they discount it as something else- namely depression or anxiety. Although Ashok’s tools themselves didn’t solve the issue, they set me on a course that ultimately led to me making a full recovery. His contribution to medicine is quite genuinely outstanding (along with Phil Parker, who as far as I can tell arrived at similar techniques independently of Ashok). I’m not sure what has to happen before his methods become adopted by healthcare systems all over the world- whatever it is, the sooner the better.
