Paid Positions Available To Support The Gupta Program

The Gupta Program continues to grow and with it our need for talented personnel who can support our vision to become the gold-standard, physician-recommended intervention for a range of chronic illnesses.

In our efforts to achieve this goal, we need more scientific research to demonstrate the effectiveness of the program. We have already published several papers and have numerous clinical trials in the pipeline.

As such, we need experienced individuals who can contribute to our research and fundraising divisions and have two open positions:

A) Clinical Research Manager

B) Fundraising Consultant

Read on to see if you (or someone you know) fits either role and how you can apply. The deadline for both positions is March 15th.

A) CLINICAL RESEARCH MANAGER

The Clinical Research Manager’s primary role will be to develop, initiate, and manage research studies on the effectiveness of The Gupta Program.

Position is remote but must reside in the United States or Canada.

Estimate 10-20 hours per week.

Compensation based on experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Clinical Research Manager has two key roles:

1. PRIMARY ROLE: MEDICAL STUDIES

 Develop a strategy for gaining Phase 2 and 3 clinical trials on the Gupta Program.

 Produce draft research feasibility protocols to test with partner institutions.

 Establish research collaborations and initiate trial set-up.

 Provide guidance and mentoring for clinical research team, overseeing their day-to-day tasks and operations.

 Monitor the progress of clinical trials and report/resolve/escalate problems and issues.

 Prepare and analyze data from trials, identifying key findings and implications.

 Write papers for publication, and shepherd the peer-review submission and revision process.

2. SECONDARY ROLE: OUTREACH

 Develop and refine materials for outreach to medical practitioners and research institutions.

 Identify lists of potential collaborators for research and reach out to them.

 Identify lists of medical/CAM organizations that can be contacted to proliferate awareness of the Gupta Program.

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:

 If using the Gupta Program, to have healed to at least 80% recovery.

 3+ years’ experience leading and conducting primary research studies (clinical trials preferred).

 3+ years’ experience leading, developing, and nurturing teams.

 3+ years’ experience client facing and customer service skills.

 Manage varied tasks and prioritize workload with accuracy and attention to detail.

 Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

 Self-starter who takes the initiative and can work independently.

 Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 Engage constructively with colleagues at all levels across different departments to deliver objectives.

 Highly methodical and organized, including time-management skills and changing priorities.

 Experience with Excel and SPSS preferred.

 Strong working knowledge of the research process in the USA and/or Canada, preferably having been involved in trials in those countries.

Education / Qualifications:

 Min bachelor’s degree in biological science, pharmacy, or other health-related discipline preferred.

 Ideally also holding a master’s degree or doctorate in a health-related field.

B) FUNDRAISING CONSULTANT

The Fundraising Consultant’s primary role will be to develop relationships and raise money for our Chronic Conditions Research Fund 501(c)(3). You can view more information about the fund here.

Position is remote but must reside in the United States or Canada.

Estimate: 8-10 hours per week.

Compensation based on experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Fundraising Consultant has two key roles:

1. PRIMARY ROLE: IDENTIFYING HIGH-VALUE DONORS

 Develop a strategy for increasing donations to the Chronic Conditions Research Fund (CCRF).

 Database screening to classify potential donors using software such as DonorSearch.

 Identification and profiling of prospects.

 Develop and execute an outreach program and various targeted fundraising campaigns.

 

2. SECONDARY ROLE: CULTIVATING RELATIONSHIPS

 Develop a list of potential donors (beyond The Gupta Program universe) and a strategy for outreach to them.

 Build and nurture relationships with potential donors.

 Ideation and execution of events designed to raise profile and awareness of the CCRF.

 

Knowledge / Skills / Competencies:

 If using the Gupta Program, to have healed to at least 80% recovery.

 5+ years’ experience in non-profit medical/clinical fundraising with proven track record.

 3+ years’ experience client facing and customer service skills.

 Strong oral and written communication and networking skills.

 Deep understanding of the medical and clinical research field.

 Self-starter who takes the initiative and can work independently.

 Engage constructively with colleagues at all levels across different departments to deliver objectives.

 Highly methodical and organized, including time-management skills and changing priorities.
