1-1 Coaching

I am a highly experienced Gupta coach, who has been coaching with the program since 2012. I used the program to fully recover from CFS and fibromyalgia and was so inspired by it that I re-trained, so I could share what I had learned with others. Originally, I trained to PhD level, as an environmental research scientist. I am now an NLP Master Practitioner, psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher, with additional training in positive psychology, self-compassion and resilience. I am qualified, through the Universities of Bangor and Oxford, to teach mindfulness programs and I often incorporate mindfulness skills into my coaching sessions for additional benefit. This is supported by my decades of mindfulness and Zen meditation practice and ongoing study with meditation teachers in the UK, US and Ireland. I bring warmth, compassion and friendliness to my coaching. I ask empathic, insightful questions that can get to the heart of the beliefs and resistances that are keeping you stuck. I will work with you at any stage of your Gupta Program journey. My experience and insight can quickly help you understand how to adapt the program for your situation and give you additional skills to move you forward. I particularly enjoy helping you to reconnect with joy and rediscover purpose in life. I have first-hand experience of going back into a workplace after my CFS recovery and balancing working full time with a family. Because of this, I particularly enjoy coaching retrainers who are wondering about how to move out into the world of work again. I can help you develop the resilience skills and practices to make recovery sustainable, long term. I have personal experience of hEDS/joint hyper mobility and its links to anxiety and MCAS, use of a low histamine diet and how to use the Gupta program effectively with these conditions. A growing passion is learning how the menopause transition can lead to CFS and fibromyalgia, as well as IBS and histamine issues. I have also worked successfully with long COVID clients. Although I am based in the lovely market town of Todmorden in West Yorkshire, England, I work internationally, via Zoom/Skype or phone, offering Gupta program coaching one to one and in groups. I also offer life coaching, meditation training (1-1 and groups) and some online psychotherapy (contact me to discuss). I work with adults of any gender, over 18 years old. When I am not coaching, I love to be out in nature, meditating, walking in the mountains and my local Pennine hills and woods with my dog. I enjoy organic gardening and cooking, wild swimming, painting in pastels and watercolours and working creatively with textiles. Email – stressresilience@hotmail.co.uk Web – www.stressresilience.co.uk
