Dips Are The Signposts To Success In Chronic Illness Recovery

I hope that you are gently able to put the tools into practice with commitment. Because repetition and perseverance really do work with this Program, especially during any dips that you may have.

Helping you recover from this condition is my life’s quest, it is my passion. And it brings me so much joy and so much gratitude when I see Retrainers go on this journey of healing and recovery.

So many before you have walked this path and so shall you. And it is a path of overcoming fear and worry. Your human spirit is strong, even when your body does not feel it. And yes, you can navigate those dark tunnels in the mind, even when everything feels hopeless; you can see the light, you know that you will get there. I know you can, because many before you have and so can you!

You are already healthy; your body knows how to be healthy. Because there is nothing wrong with the physical hardware, it is a software issue! The software of your body, your body’s programing, is keeping the body in an altered state of over-defensiveness, which drains your energy. And once we change that programing, then the system will naturally come back to balance! Because that is its nature.

You are like a seed, that already knows how to grow into a strong tree. It just needs that nurture, that sunlight, and then it can grow. That is the exciting news!

Remember the analogy of the baby learning to walk. It stands up and walks…and then falls over! Like a dip you might have. Then the baby stands up again, and walks, and then falls over. But the baby does not think, “Oh dear, I’m never going to be able to do it!” It gets back up and tries again and again….and keeps falling over. But repeated dips are the signpost to success! By falling over many times, the baby learns how to get the right balance.

And you are also learning how to balance your life, until eventually you can walk…and fly!
